Memorial Day Golf Today Blake's hard work and practice on the golf course paid off where he not only broke 80 for the first time but he also broke it by 8 strokes shooting a 72! As soon as hockey season concluded, he hit the golf course and started practicing non stop. He recently got some appropriately fitting clubs which helped as well. He spends every evening he's home helping the range staff hit balls back into the fairway so the ball collecting machine can retrieve them, on top of his daily range and short game practice. He's not allowed to drive a Troub cart onto the course until he's officially 16 so instead he grinds away at the practice facility. So far, this hard work has paid off and he's got the itch!!
